DiEM25 will campaign in support of:

Abolishing the EU’s electricity auction markets, in which privateers exploit monopoly power, as a first step to de-commodifying energy

Establishing a European Socialised Green Energy Union to be funded by the European Investment Fund supported by the European Central Bank

This Union will plan and fund the development of a paneuropean production and distribution network of 100% renewable and zero-carbon energy.
This Union will be answerable to Citizens Assemblies at all levels: municipal, state and paneuropean.
