The German government has repeatedly violated the rights of activists fighting for Palestine. This includes DiEM25’s founder, Yanis Varoufakis, academic Salman Abu Sitta, surgeon and rector of the University of Glasgow, Ghassan Abu Sittah, and countless others.
 
Yanis Varoufakis is an EU citizen, and the pretext that the German government are giving to ban him - 'national security' - is not only implausible, but completely indefensible.

DiEM25 gets no corporate money, no public funds or government grants of any kind – we depend exclusively on small, individual donations.
