Begivenheden

On Saturday 3 July, from 7pm to dusk, DiEM25 Belgium, together with the Free Assange Committee Belgium, will celebrate Julian Assange's 50th birthday at the Parc du Cinquantenaire in Brussels.
We will end the event, at nightfall, by lighting candles.

The evening will be preceded by a lot of actions:
-Letters to the Belgian members of Parliaments urging them to defend Assange
-Campaign to sign 2 petitions, including the Geneva appeal
-Continuation of the international campaign of yellow ribbons, marked "Free Assange" and tied in places of passage
-Campaign for financial support (especially for Assange's father's tour of the USA)
-Sending letters and videos to J. Assange
And, as every Monday, street demonstrations on Monday 28 June at 5pm. Pl. de la Monnaie in Brussels and Pl. de l'Ange in Namur, and a demonstration in front of the British embassy (rond point Schuman) on 5 July at 5 pm.
