On Saturday 8th October DiEM25 supporters will host another 'on-street community conversations' event in Derry City Centre. The two main themes will be;

To show solidarity with the Surround Parliament event in support of justice for Julian Assange to be held at 1pm at Westminster - #SurroundParliament 

Cost of Living Crisis - we will hand out leaflets with information on doing away with sham electricity 'markets' as a means to lower energy costs for consumers as outlined in this DiEM25 article;

Time to blow up electricity markets - Yanis Varoufakis (diem25.org)

We will raise the call - 'LOWER PRICES FOR PEOPLE - NOT HIGHER PROFITS FOR OLIGARCHS'
