You are most cordially invited to join us for our big campaign event on 17 May in Berlin!

Attendance and food is donation-based in order to support our host, Oyoun Cultural Center, and the catering service.

Running for the European elections on 9 June 2024 is a milestone for MERA25 Germany, and we are full of motivation and commitment to put our campaign for a democratic Europe into practice together with you.

Therefore, we are organizing this get-together to present our candidates, and to discuss our program on “Peace – Solidarity – Freedom” with you.

The day is divided into different formats: Our candidates will open the floor at 17:00, introducing MERA25’s vision and core demands for the people of Europe, including Yanis Varoufakis, who is joining us live online. Then, we break into parallel thematic workshops, organized by members. The official part will conclude with a panel discussion on interconnected struggles, with MERA25 candidates in discussion with inspiring guests. As you all know, freedom for Palestine has become central to our understanding of liberation, so expect that it will not be forgotten. From 21:00 onwards, we will end the day in conversation, with food, drinks, and music, in Oyoun’s main hall and beautiful outside space.

In terms of language, we try our best to do justice to our pan-European outlook and to our local constituency. The whole event will be accessible to English-speakers with workshops in German as part of the program. For other language needs, please approach us, and we hope to be able to support you.
